It would be nice to be able to print an entire (long) thread without having to go to each page.

Also, I think it would be nice to be able to read a long thread by scrolling the whole thing (rather than having to click on the next page).

Good idea!

Along similar lines, is there a way to print just one post out of an entire thread? For example, my computer keyboard has a "print screen" button but I can't figure out how to make it work. Or the print option for printing "current page" won't work when printing threads. Sometime I just want to print out one post and not an entire thread. Is there a way to do that?

Good idea again on the scrolling!

At the bottom of the page, to the left, just below the blue "New Topic" button is a link called "Printer-Friendly view of this topic.". Voila, you can read or print the entire thread without having to flip through pages.

"is there a way to print just one post out of an entire thread?"

Copy and paste the text over to your word processor and print it. You don't get the smiley's, but hey, nothing's perfect. \:\)

"my computer keyboard has a "print screen" button but I can't figure out how to make it work."

If you press Alt-PrintScreen, you'll be copying the current window to the clipboard. Just open a new document in Word, then Edit->Paste and the window will be pasted in as a graphic.

Hmmm... I just discovered that this nice feature has disappeared! What happened?

It got broken with some other changes we made a while ago.

I'm looking at a major upgrade to our forums software, which should include printer friendly and a number of other features.

NOT before I get back from NAMM in January though.
