I will start by appologizing for my lack of knowledge about pianos - that said, you can understand the subject line of this thread. I have a 5 year old who has recently expressed interest in learning to play the piano. I want to encourage her, but know little about pianos. My wife and I would like for the piano to serve as both a musical instrument and furniture. We have looked at some digital baby grand pianos and have been favorably impressed. We found a Suzuki 425e at a local store for about $2,000. Based upon our limited research this seems to be a good price on a good instrument. But I thought I would send along this post and get some more informed opinions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Any ideas on where to look for reviews and things to look for in a piano for a young beginer would also be appreciated.
Thanks!
