Hi, this is my very first post, and I can't seem to find where to post a new member introduction.

Since you have so many members, and since new ones join all of the time, could you create a forum for new people. If there already is one, please direct me there or make it more visible.

If admins are against it, then where should I post?

First of all, welcome! \:D

I don't think we usually introduce ourselves. Usually we just notice when someone new arrives, and we welcome him to the forum. \:D

But, if you're going to introduce yourself, that's fine, too. Welcome, welcome, welcome!

DantheMan... yes, welcome to PianoWorld! I agree with your request for new members to have a dedicated place for their first post. There's nothing like a proper introduction! ;\)

Many new members join to ask one question and then disappear. But for new members who plan to stick around, become involved and share their piano/music interests, and who might also be interested in hooking up with other members for gatherings and get-togethers, I agree with your request for a new member intro spot.

I guess we'll just wait and see what Frank (aka the great and powerful Oz behind the curtain!!)thinks is the best route to take. \:D
