Take my word for it, if any of you can make it, do it!

Last year we had a forums party, then went to the recital. It was a great day/night all around.

The recital performances were fantastic and a wonderful time was had by all.

I plan on making it to this one, and hope to have the time to put something together to play.

Regards,

- Frank B.

Immediately following Open Stage Recital (advertised by Axtremus) in Westford MA, Larry Buck, a recent member and an outstanding piano tech, has volunteered to host a PW gathering in Lowell. Larry welcomes us to gather in the music room of his shop where a Petrof model II will be available to those interested in providing entertainment.

Please post a response to a thread that has been started in the Pianist Corner forum if you plan to attend.

Frank... We look forward to your attendance at both gatherings! wink

Are both events open to anyone on this board?
I've just realized that it's quite near from where I am, but unfortunately, I have to accompany a group of singers at 1pm tomorrow. I also have my solo recital ( http://www.rehearsalmusic.com/ )the next morning, so maybe I should not tire myself out.
It's great to know that there're piano events not far away though. I'll try to make it for the next one. :-)

The recital is a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone/everyone.

I may even summon the courage to play a piece myself during open call this year :-)
