Join Mark Flugge, one of Columbus’ finest keyboard artists, on a journey through piano history. Compare and contrast various piano styles - from stride and ragtime to boogie woogie, rock and roll and cutting edge – and discuss the historical context in which they were developed and performed. Utilizing technology and live performance, participants will also learn about great American piano players and the songs and ensembles that made them famous.
