Can someone post the technical requirements for the RCM grade 7 exam, please? I am having a horrible time trying to get my hands on a copy of the syllabus (it doesn't seem to be listed on the Frederick Harris-USA site).

Thanks!

I think a new version of the Piano Syllabus is being phased in - and Frederick Harris is not the publisher.

The publisher of the 2004 edition is Heritage Music Press. Heritage is a division of The Lorenz Corp. You can order a copy via e-mail: order@lorenz.com. Or, you can call: 800-444-1144, ext. 1.

I haven't heard anything, yet, regarding the cut-off time for the 2001 edition. You might want to call your exam center coordinator if you need a quick update. There is generally an overlap period during which either the out-going or in-coming edition of the syllabus is acceptable.

Good luck with your exam! . . . Linda

There is no syllabus newer than 2001 for piano (just for theory). Unless a different one is used in the US. And technical requirements haven't changed for many years.
