I just placed an internet order at Burt & Company Discount Music Supply yesterday. I decided to bought 20 books at once in order to get the free shipping and save more money..
However, the next day morning I got another confirmation email from the company and notice me that my shipping fee would be $11. I called back right away and Mr. BURT told me that I'm not allowed to combine 2 promotions within the same order. What happen is I bought 4 lessons book in a "25 % off promotional rate". Then I asked if I could modify my order like may be I order less this time or take off those 4 "discounted" lesson books to get the free shipping. But all he said was it was too late to do any adjustment or stop the order, and he refused to resolve the problem at all.
Unlike Burt & Company, Sheet Music Plus and some other online sites offer free or cheap shipping rate and they have a better return policy if something goes wrong. But Burt & Company just trying to get customer by their LOW rate and not willing to resolve problem once you have place the order. They don't even offer
Return as well.
So be careful when you hit the "SUMMIT" button.
