Hi:
I am in San Jose.
Adult beginner. How do I go about to look for a piano teacher in my areas? how do I know if he/she is a good one to go with. Any suggestion?
Thanks

Please do a search on this forum for finding a piano teacher. There have been many great posts that already address this issue at length.

I would visit as many as possible and ask for a 'one off' consultation. Also check their credentials - I would be dubious of word of mouth.

Try www.mtac.org and click on "Find a Teacher." You can search by zip code.
