Hello, I just joined PW after moving to Philadelphia and will soon be giving piano lessons. I have heard of places where teachers can receive discounts if they buy certain quantities or subscribe to some packages but have only found one or two examples on the web, neither of which seemed worthwhile. Anyone have some suggestions? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks a lot, Charlie extension236@yahoo.com

Charlie, welcome on board! Nice to have another teacher. At one time, http://www.pattimusic.com/ gave pretty good discounts. They still advertise discounts, but I cannot tell you what they are. John

You can try the local music store. The one I go to gives teachers a 10% discount and they have a program where you can have an account and try out different books without being obligated to buy them right away.
