I have a question for you all, perhaps you can help!
I am ever looking to expand my knowledge of music history, as it helps not only my playing, but I can also help my students. I just finished a book on the Romantic Era, but it was fairly dry. I am now looking for books on the Enlightenment and on the Baroque eras. Here is the challenge, however. Finding a book that gives accurate historical portrayals without being terribly dry and dull! If anyone has anything that they have read, or have heard that is good, I would love to know!
Thank you!
