hi. just came to the US and wanted to know where is the best place to buy sheet music (classical/ broadway) either on line or on-site around the DC-maryland area.

you can always try searching on google=)
ironically for me, ive seen way more sheet music for sale on the internet than in stores..
some..more 'reliable' sources, such as amazon.com, also has TONS of sheet music..
there's also ebay...

The affiliated site, Sheet Music Plus has a huge selection. Plus, Piano World gets a "commission" if you buy there.

I've ordered from SM+ and gotten good service.

I use Amazon.com and Sheet Music Plus. Many pieces are also available from public domain sites, such as www.sheetmusicarchive.net , but those editions tend to have the notes cramped together and are difficult to read. But, if you're on a budget, then they're great!
