Though every teacher has there own unique way of teaching, which of the many methods out there are worth becoming certified in and what edge does it give over other teachers that teach a different method?

No great teacher has ever taught a method. When you become experienced you realize it's to the detriment of the student.

But you cannot get certified in his "method."

Where do you live? What kind of teaching situation would you like to see yourself in professionally?

Puerto Rico, for some reason the Suzuki method is very popular here and I'm trying to find out how to become certified. I have been teaching for 2 years and a good percentage of my students have become very skilled in a short amount of time, but here it's all about the most prestige method. I'm trying to become certified in this method to open doors even though I am very familiar with this method do to the fact my previous boss was a certified suzuki instructor. I can't ask him how he got certified, so I'm trying to find out information on how to become certified in suzuki.

Yadiel, in case the Suzuki teachers on this site aren't aware of this thread and so don't respond, why don't you open a new thread with "Suzuki" in the title so it will be noticed? I imagine that there would be an international Suzuki office which would then also be able to direct you to what to do in your own country.

Leschetizky never had any method. It was written by his assistants.
