I am 15,I am playing this most beautiful piece for a recital in 8 weeks.I usually learn pretty quick but should i be careful and pay more attention to any certain areas?And is there a good way to practice this song?

You need to create the right atmosphere with this kind of music so the sound you make is very important. Practice the arpeggios slowly and carefully as they must sound light and effortless. Chris is absolutely right. The arpeggios must be light and seemingly effortless. This requires a very relaxed wrist, forearm and shoulder.

you have to keep strict timing through the first page, before you can release into the wonderful melodic lines in the rest of the piece, there has to be a very story like, and impressionistic feeling, afterall this is not a romantic piece, and dont rush anywhere.

Hey, I am currently learning the same piece, as a teacher, too. I would suggest that you map out the chords for the arpeggiated section. I don't know what type of learner you are, but I know for myself, if I know the theory of the chords I am playing, it helps me to learn....you see patterns. Also, BODY MAPPING is important. You need to SLOWLY practice the arpeggios and map out where your wrist and forearm are positioned for each chord...the rest becomes muscular memory.
