Hello all,

I'm a Tech on this site and will be at MTNA in march taking care of pianos in the Bosendorfer - Sauter - Steingraeber booth.

If you'll be there, look me up for fun.

Wow - something is happening in Kansas City. I have managed a restaurant that catered to the convention crowd. The music teachers were surprisingly rowdy! (just kidding) Here is a link. Maybe I'll throw a little party...not for the whole conference but forum members if any. (RKVS1 are you there?)

This is still February, isn't it?

ok, fill me in on the details, (and generalities as well) cause I'm just waking up here.
MTNA = Missouri? Teachers Nat Association?
= Music Teachers Nat Association?
= ?? Tuners Nat association

In that big convention building thats going to fall on a bunch of cars one day with those God-awful art thingies on the columns what they'd abeen better off just parking that helicopter up there instead of on?

What days in March?

(I've been practicing my lurking skills, thats all Apple) \:\)

I googled and found thisinfo:

MTNA is the Music Teachers National Association

Missouri does have an affiliated state organization - the MMTA (Missouri Music Teachers Association.)

It's March 27-29. I'm going mostly for the pedagogy Saturday events. They also have a great exhibit hall where you can get discounts on lots of sheet music and stuff. Just about anything you'd ever want. I love it!

I don't think they'd let me attend. I really did manage a restaurant in or near where the convention was held in year's past. (the Hyatt or Crown Center). Apparently it's at the Marriot (very close to the artistic doodaddles we are so famous for). From what I remember, and it's been 10 years, they keep the teachers pretty organized and busy. I remember talking to some of the teachers. They'd rush in for meals - they were having a blast and then they'd be off to a seminar or recital. (had to feed 100s of them in 20 minutes). If it looks like anyone would have free meal time, let me know. I'll grab Topeka Bob and pop on down, or maybe find a piano fairly close by, which is not likely.

Well you're all welcome to play some of the (best) pianos in (my booth), that is, where I will be keeping them sounding good. (Sauter, Steingraeber, Bosey...) And yes, it is at the Marriot.

As far as meeting you all anywhere, I will be without a vehicle; but party on anyhow.

Hi,
I'm new to the forum but would enjoy meeting some of you in KC. I'll be there Friday - Wednesday and will be attending Pedagogy Saturday.
Let's get together!

Hello all,

Here's my latest update for KC. I will be the piano Tech for the "Steingraeber - Sauter - Kemble" booth (along with dealer/representatives Chris Finger and Brian Gatshel).

There will be some very fine pianos in ths booth including: Sauter 130-MLine, Sauter 122-SchoolPiano, Sauter 220-Maly, Steingraeber 168-Classic, Steingraeber 205 and a few others....

A good meal and a little wine would be a great finish to (each) evening there ;\)
