Dear Piano World Forums friends and collector of rare books,

I keep on researching on piano technique and there is a book which lacks me and which is very important for keyboard instruments that is "IL TRANSILVANO".
Written by Girolamo Diruta who was a monk, organist, theorist and composer. He is known not only as a celebrated organ-player, but as the author of a remarkable treatise on organ playing which was far in advance of any contemporary publication. It was the first attempt to treat of the organ separately as an instrument that required a method of treatment and of finger technique distinct from that used for the clavier. It was written in two parts, which were published at a large interval. The first was entitled: "Il Transilvano" (1593). The second appeared in 1609: "Seconda parte del Transilvano".
Well, I would like to know if any of you would have this copy in PDF or would be interested in doing a digital copy of the work. This would help me a lot but would enrich all the world to make possible a digital version for everybody.

Thanks so very much in advance,
