This is going to be very vague I know but... last evening my Japanese teacher said she would like me to try a set of technical exercises by a French composer which she herself used when a young girl in Japan. Trouble is, she can't remember the composer's name. Only that it is 'La... something '

Before I embark on what could turn out to be a prolonged search, does anyone have any ideas what these exercises may be?

Is she thinking of Henry Lemoine?
