I want to say "Happy Birthday" to:

Boira - And, Many. Many More!

United States Coast Guard (1790) "Semper Paratus"

Barack Obama (47 today)

Anyone else who has a mutual birthday or is celebrating a special day of any kind - Enjoy!

Myself - I am ripe for SS and Medicare today! Been processed and assigned and I'm going to get me some. Thank goodness! But, I am not retiring from piano teaching and my projects!

Hubby promised to make me a chocolate cake today, let's see if he remembers. He's having a very busy day today and it could slip between the cracks.

Also, hello to all the "Leo's" in the world!

All birthdays should be happy ones!

Betty

Happy Birthday to you too, Betty!

Enjoy that chocolate cake and save a portion for us! \:D

PD: I have to run urgently to the bathroom to put tons and tons of anti-wrinkle cream on \:D

Happy Birthday, Betty. You're fortunate to be in a profession that you love. Not everyone can say the same. Keep teaching. You have so much to share.

Belated Happy Birthday wishes, Betty. I can't believe I missed this post, but in my defense, I can honestly say that I've been dealing with city inspectors who impose their regulations on us, even though we live in the county, because of a state regulation passed by the liberal party, whose basic premise is that we're morons and cannot possibly live our lives without their help (as you can see, yesterday wasn't a good day).

Hope your day was joyous - the weather certainly cooperated!

The best in the coming year.

John

Thank you for posting in this topic, it's joyful to hear from each of you!

Boira - Anti-wrinkle cream! You are cracking me up!

Morodienne - the cake got made but he hasn't put the frosting on it yet - I'm thinking of having a piece for breakfast. Would anyone like to join me?

Akira - it's great to see that you are back with us today. I miss you!

John - I saw an ad that got my attention - it's probably an old ad that you may have already seen.

"Left wing? Right wing? They both taste good to me." (From KFC)

Gordon has had his share of problems in getting his 2 story garage and workshop past the planners - all kinds of things - long, long waiting in lines. It now in progress and should be done in late September. Good luck to you in getting what you need done. Being Olympia is the state capitol, they know a lot about "red tape" right there in your town. Arrrgh!

Regards!

Betty

Happy birthday, Betty! August 4 has longevity built into it -- it was my father-in-law's, and he lived to be 95.
