Just out of curiosity, how many of your students have developed perfect pitch if they start at a young age? Thanks!

Is perfect pitch a good thing when it comes to playing the piano?

perfect pitch can be a good thing, however, you still need to know how to use it as a gift.

i don't think perfect pitch can be developed, it is a natural talent, you either have it or not.

however, developing a good ear is possible, and develop a good relative pitch is very important in music training.
