Here is another question..

I know many teachers give lessons at their home studio. When you host a recital at your place, other than renting a hall, how do you set up the sitting?

I am planning a informal recital at my house. I like to provide not-threatening performing environment for my students. The thing is that I have the space for 25-30 people (including students) but not enough chairs or couches. How do you guys do your home studio recital?

I will be having a student recital tomorrow at my home. I figured out that, just by having the students alone will be enough. Including the parents will amount to two or three times the number of audience and space will be a problem. Perhaps, you can invite the parents once a year but have smaller recitals dates just for students alone....... that is what i am doing now.
