This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

I just got a piano book for solos and optional duets. A symbol is in there I dont know, Ive seen it in some choral sheet music Ive used but it was in the piano section so I didnt bother asking. Its a line going from one cleff to another, diagonaly, its not hot the squigly thing where you add notes to make a complete chord.
