I liked the tempo of the etude, though I must admit the sound quality was bad. What piano did you use?

The Alborada, the Beethoven, and the Prokofiev were all new to me \:\) Sounded pretty well done. I also liked the sound quality of the last one \:\)

Wow! As F. Chopin said - op. 10 no 4 was outstanding! You really know how to play it, it was a close-to breathtaking version. So.... could you post some more stuff? \:\) Listening to Alborado now, sounds really good too.

I think the best was Beethoven. You really potrayed him very well. The only thing I didn't like at the beginning, which proved to be wrong as I continued listening was the tempo. Now, on 2nd thought, playing at this speed seems really ok. I've been forcing my students to play them faster than this. hmmm...
I love the discipline in your playing and your touch was superb. Some really delicate lyricism along the way. \:\) And not forgetting the marvellous technic. You have a really pearly touch. I like it. In fact, I'm going to make a recording for all my students playing this piece at the moment.
Bravo!!! \:\)

i just listened to your Beethoven 32 variations, which is my favorite piece. i was quite moved by your playing, which is superb and sounded very beautiful and moving, although for a moment i thought you might have romantized it a little. anyway, it's simply amazing, and i couldn't play like this for million years...

Thanks for compliments, you know I used to play a faster tempo as most of others until I so a film by Vim Wenders (I can't recall the name of this masterpiece). There’s one pianist on the film that played these few first variations (first three, to be precise) in very slow tempo. Quite unexpectedly but in such a way one gets a totally changed perspective of view. It’s a very good experiment, I think. I’ll post once a recording of 3rd movement of Beethoven's op. 2/3 c major sonata. It is not the same music when dynamic marks are followed correctly! Music is full of surprises.
