Hi! I'm new =)

My recordings are at www.jeanhuang.com under recordings!

I hope you like it, and if you don't, I would love advice. I'm currently applying to try to go to graduate school for piano performance for my master's. Hopefully somewhere in NY or east coast!

1. Chopin Ballade no. 1 in g minor Op. 23
2. Beethoven Sonata Op. 109 Mvmt 1 & 2
3. Yangko from Shandong Folk Suite by Cui Shi Guang
4. Bach Prelude and Fugue No. 5 Bk 2 D Major

Congratulations on your playing. I'm not familiar with the repertoire you have recorded, and I'm a violist so will leave others to discuss your playing, but I have been recording a lot of piano lately. So, in general, I think that your playing merits a better quality mp3 than what you've put on your site. My observation is that you could do with a microphone with better bass response; the microphone seemed placed a little too far back from the piano. I'm curious to know what equipment you used to make the recording. Also I find 128 kb/s fixed bitrate for an mp3 far too low for any classical recording. For a fixed bit rate, 160 kb/s is really minimal. Hope that is of some help.

Oh dear!! I don't know a thing about recording equipment!

I used one recording microphone.. (not sure what it was), recorded it in my home.

I'm going to look into that mp3 part though! Wow, I didn't know any of this!
