Here are two recordings (just improved) of my Grand Piano.
I'm interested in meanings about its sound. Who can guess the brand?

Tell me...

I cannot guess the brand reliably, but I'm willing to guess that it is NOT a baby grand. I think it's in the 7 foot neighborhood.

Hello TX-Dennis,
Thanks for answering first. No, the length of the grand is 5'8''...You'll probably be able to guess the brand with this (much better) recording:

It's "Arietta" from Edvard Grieg. And sorry, I've never practised this piece( I was only searching for a short piece to record...)

Well, I think it's a big surprise for you: The Grand is a 1990 Yamaha G2. And nobody knows where this great warm sound comes from. Yamahas are normally known for their bright, metallic sound. But I think a Yamaha engineer has got a great moment:-)Until now, I haven't seen a Grand piano in the showrooms of Steinway/Boesendorfer &Co., which gives me more pleasure.

And here's another Grieg ("Forbi"...that means "Past")...

Tried to listen to them, but all I got was a message that the file had expired. Gaby Tu
