Hello, thought I might try this forum as it is focused on piano recordings.

I am looking for a project studio in the DC area with a well-maintained piano (can be baby grand or upright) for a recording project. The focus is basic piano and vocal, singer-songwriter fare.

I do record demos at home, but would like access to a studio to a) go somewhere away from home specifically for recording and b) have access to better mics and possibly a better piano to mic (I have a Baldwin Classic, built in 2001).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I realize that project studios seldomly have acoustic pianos anymore since they take up space, cost money to maintain and require effort to learn to record properly. Everyone typically goes the digital route (too bad).
