Here are 8 of Chopin's Nocturnes that I recorded on my Technics SX/PX-667 digital grand. I had one of those early mornings where I couldn't sleep so I got up to play the piano and do some practicing. I was reading through the nocturnes, and since they were going so well, I decided to record them. There are odd mistakes and hesitations here and there. They were recorded in a single take as I played them. These were just recorded as the time went along, and then hacked apart later. Since turned out to be one of those magic moments when everything goes together musically, and I wanted to share it with every one else. Enjoy John http://savefile.com/projects/759784

Just beautiful, John. I've only listened to a few of them so far, but man... Fantastic!
Keep it up!

John im listening to the 1st nocturne( btw for the future, you should really write the opus # because I think thats how the majority of people know the piece)
It is very beautifully played. You clearly understand each phrase and play with a sensitive touch.
However.....I really really think you should play on a piano piano opposed to anything digital for obvious reasons. I would love to hear them played on a real piano if you have access to one.
Great job!! You have a great "feel" for nocturne style of playing!
