I don't believe that Member Recordings is an appropriate venue for an announcement of that sort.

This forum is for Member Recordings, duh, not the promotion of personal websites. The person in question let us know about it in two other locations already—while claiming it's not his site. So where are the Member Recordings there? At this point, it's called spam. Live and learn!

If you admit that the website isn't yours, then the recordings on it aren't yours either, correct? As such, your post doesn't belong in a forum for Member Recordings. If you had posted recordings of your own instead, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I never said it's not a nice site, or that the music on it isn't worthwhile—only that this particular forum is not the proper place to advertise it.

For what it's worth, the original post clearly did not fit into what this particular forum is supposed to be about. The original poster responded to a perfectly polite note to that effect by denying the obvious and then a second poster chimes in with derision. What a surprise that Steven responded in kind.

Well... you know guys I do not really understand: I just wanted to introduce a nice website with in my opinion nice recordings. What is the difference between sending your own audio or video recordings and sending this website with audio recordings? Again I wanted to share this good moments which both of you. End of the story!...

Member Recordings is not the place to promote somebody else's recordings on somebody else's website.
