Great playing. What grade is this piece in ABRSM?

The first cadenza is hard because of the double notes. Everything else is easy.
Anyways, try to make the melody smoother in some places, it sounds choppy sometimes so adjust pedaling.

Excellent! Sounds great. Another piece for my want-to-play list.

Wonderful playing of a very difficult piece. You should be able to handle just about any Liszt if you can play this piece.

Yes I was there, but very late. On top of all my other problems arriving the cab driver couldn't find it. I believe you were playing Widmung when I noticed you and your family (little girls dressed to the nines) around the piano.

Nice playing To some other posts . . . there is no way the cadenza is the most difficult bit!!!

[/b] This is just about as easy as Liszt gets actually... The rest of the piece is really simple. For people who are bad with double notes (me ) the cadenza is by far the hardest.

Agreed, that's definitely an overstatement. I think it is about level 8 or 9.
The first cadenza is easy once you figure out the bounce in the hands. Play it repeatedly for 30 minutes and you should understand what I mean. I think executing the second section with the same nuance as the first section is the most challenging thing about this piece.
LisztAddict, your technique is fine for this. But the expression is a WIP. It will come with playing it 1000 more times. Good job though- if you were to pass this around on torrents, many listeners would consider it a professional recording.
