w_scott_iv@yahoo 1000 Post Club Member Registered: 12/29/05 Posts: 1109 Loc: West Virginia	Hi all, I hope I'm in the right place. I just downloaded 'Audacity' so that I can record using my laptop. I'd like some suggestions as to the best mic I can use (at different price ranges). I have a pre-amp, but prefer not to use it in order to simplify the process. I appreciate any help you can give. I have a pair, which i can place right inside the piano pointing at the strings.
