Hi,

I recorded Danza de la Moz Donosa from Ginestera's three Argentenian dances. I'm playing it for a student recital today. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Very enjoyable. You have really grasped the overall sonority, touch and a great lilting tempo required here, and have put a fine and solid performance. I hope it goes well today.

The one comment I would make is that I think you could afford to give it a few more carrots leading up to and at the climax: it did feel a little reserved, compared to other interpretations I've heard of this piece (e.g. I am now re-listening to a Barenboim recording). Perhaps the adrenalin of live performance will give you that extra lift!

Michael B.
PS. The composer's name is spelled Gina[/b]stera...
