I also played the same consolation, I also made a reccord of it, but I am terrible whit computers and don't know how to put them online. It listen to you other reccords, and this one, I like the consolation best! It is not bad at old. It think it in not yet completely finish, but I think it will be very good in 1 or maybe 2 weeks!

That is really nice. You have a nice sweet sounding touch with it. I've never looked at it other than in a quick passing.
Wow is all I can say.

Thanks everyone. I'm lucky that I had the benefit of a really good piano that allowed the melody to "sing" effortlessly. However, the piano was also rather bright, so I had to use a fair amount of una-corda pedal to "dampen" that brightness some what. I wonder what are your experiences with using the una-corda with respect to this piece, and whether you would recommend that as good practice.

[/b] I guess I just like the rounder sound that comes with the una-corda, quite apart from the fact that you can achieve a pppp much more easily. Whether I use the pedal would thus depend very much on the piano I'm playing on - if it is a loud, bright and brash piano, all the more it is important to use it. Not so much with a piano with a rounder tone. What piano did you record it on?
