Allemande, English Suite in A minor, J.S. Bach

So this is a home recording. The playing is tentative, and I'm not confident in my ornaments (repeats are taken, but no improvisation is offered). I have the Prelude buried somewhere on my laptop; trying to dig that one up to post as well.

Wow, that is incredible playing. I registered just so I could respond to your post. I fantasize being able to play Bach so well.
Thank you.

Thanks for the kind words. I confess to Bach being a nightmare for me to perform. Aside from Mozart, I can't think of another composer that makes me so terribly self-conscious while at the piano.

You seemed to do quite okay here. \:D I know what you mean though. I think it's because of the openess and clarity of the music. This is a lot less forgiving then the music of the later periods.
