I think that's probably what it was. Or, if you did any equalizing (or didn't), it turned out a little bass-heavy (in a range where the piano doesn't play), so there was a little noise. Otherwise, it's a fairly clear recording.
I don't think you could find this piece on the internet, and I don't have a scanner, so I can't send it. Sorry.

I wish I could provide some sort of constructive comment for you, virtuoso, but unfortunately this is not a piece I'm familiar with.
I'll default to what you've said about your own playing--you will likely be your own worst critic (I know I am, in my 'private sessions' with myself...you know, those ones where you go into a room and curse yourself out for ever making a mistake? :p
Oh, I did want to say that though I'm not a big fan of the composer, from what I could tell, you played well. (You kept me listening through the entire piece, which I must say is rather difficult to do when I do not really like the composer.)
