Here is Bach's tricky gigue from the partita for keyboard, alot of hand crossing I must add. Please comment.... Its not a great performance but I gave it a try, there are a few mistakes and slightly uneven throughout but its hard to clean up perfectly, being Bach of course, my favourite composer ever. That is a very difficult piece to play, and all in all I think you played it very well. I realize that the gigue is to be played in a lively and spritely manner, but I wonder if perhaps you played it a bit too fast. You have a great technique, but perhaps playing it just a mite slower would bring out the various nuances in the composition. Other than that, it was a very very impressive performance. Gaby Tu

Thankyou very much, I do agree with you on the speed yes, I purposely played the piece at a fast pace, perhaps too fast I agree. I was going for the sheer effect of the rapid notes, and I was trying to bring out the melody with the right hand as much as I could, memorising this piece was not easy at some points and I was going mad trying to remember one particular point, the thing I find about Bach is you should never expect the piece to get easier towards the end, it seems to get harder as you go through his music, it never dies down as it were.
