Actually, this is coming along quite well. I'm in the final polishing up stage of this piece too, and I must say, it's harder than it looks. I'd say there's some tiny stuff that needs fixin' in your recording, but overall it's sounding nice. Are you gonna do the 10/4 any time soon? I've got a page and a half (half the third, and the last page)to go on it and it's coming along surprisingly well. You should give it a whirl, and we'll compare in a couple months.

Yes, actually, I am working on 10/4.  I just started earlier this week, and I also think it's going well for me (somewhat difficult to go fast, but otherwise it's not so bad for the first 1.5 pages). We'll compare it after we're done, but I doubt I can get it up to the required speed.

I've discovered that the first page and a half aren't too bad to speed up to about 3/4 tempo, but the last two bars before the return to c# minor where you have to kinda flick out those two octaves on Ab and then B natural are where the speed impediments begin and continue until the theme re-enters. That last page looks like a demon .
