I didn't know which board to put this in. Please move if necessary.
I'm thinking about recording students recitals at my university for some extra cash. How much do you think it is good to charge? I was thinking about $45 Canadian for a 1 hour recital, editing included. Is this resonable? Too cheap? Too expensive?
If it's any relavence I charge $30 for a 1 hour piano lesson.
My equipment is two Studio Projects B1 mics, through an Edirol-UA 25 interface, to my laptop - it produces relativly high quality. I could also offer 24 bit, 48kHz if required. I could provide the final media as Audio CD, or data CD or DVD with higher quality WAV files.
Have any of you done something similar?
Note: my university does not currenly offer recordings as part of a students' recital. Most students and faculty just use their personal MiniDiscs (if they even have one). Little recording devices are quite common in the concert hall, I'd just like to offer recordings with better mics and for a resonable price.
