I have found a recording of myself playing the 'Waldstein' from my college days (Jan 2003). A friend of mine in the audience recorded it on minidisc and put it onto CD for me. Could anyone tell me how I can post it on this forum?? I'm afraid I am not great with technology. Thanks

Well, you may try using audacity to record it and convert the wav file from the CD to an mp3 file.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Then you need to use a file-hosting service such as:

http://www.savefile.com

Savefile will give you a link to the location of the file once it has been uploaded. You should then copy this link into your post on Piano World.

I hope this has been of assistance to you.

It seems every computer on the market today comes equipped with everything you need to rip something off a CD and convert it to mp3. If you are one of the growing numbers with iTunes, then you're set. (Some free audio converters have a limited number of mp3 conversions, after those are used up you're asked to purchase a plug in for unlimited conversions.)
