Do you know it's supposed to be played *much* faster than that? The metronome mark is 69 dotted quarters to the minute, your recording is about half speed... It's a common error though, most recordings are way slower than they should be. At full speed it sounds much more like an etude than a nocturne Give it a go in tempo, see how much different it sounds.

I realize that it is too slow, but I do prefer a slower interpretation. I will definetly try to make it a little faster though. I've played this piece for only two weeks before recording it, so I realize it needs a lot more work before it becomes presentable.
Bassio, may I ask what you mean by voicing and "the lower notes gets the upper hand at some points"? Does that mean that when I have thirds, fourths, sixths, etc., I play the lower notes too loud, obscuring the melody?
