Amplification due to the microphone. wink

Every day we are afforded a new chance. The problem with life is not that you run out of chances. In the end, what you run out of are days.

That sure is an awful lot of energy you pound into this piece. It makes me want to cower. Not sure if that was Chopin's intention, but I guess you are free to make the interpretation. The combination with the keyboard noise becomes quite sinister, as it sounds as if someone in the background is actually destroying something.

Anyway, one piece of advice is to aim for the softer melody parts (eg beginning 0.44 and 4.00) to flow a bit better, eg by not emphasizing downbeats too much. In general I think it could go a bit slower but it certainly should be more articulated. Incidentally, the issue 3d you mention is the one that killed me when working on this piece - I never figured out how to do that passage articulated at speed.

I can't even promise I still have it on my computer, but which file were you looking for?

*Edit: I found the Mephisto from last Christmas. It's back up. Please read the notes first, so you don't expect too much!

HAVE NO INTEREST IN DOWNLOADING FILES, ONLY IN PLAYING FILES WITHOUT DOWNLOADING THEM FIRST.
