I was awaiting the release of my most recent CD, and today was the day. This newest album, my third, is titled A Musical Journey: Scarlatti, Schubert and Chopin. Playing time, 75 minutes.
It contains 16 Scarlatti sonatas, the Schubert Impromptu No. 2 in E flat, Op. 90, and three Chopin Waltzes. The album concludes with the famous "Minute Waltz."
My recording engineer basically designed my web page and converted two of my selected files to MP3. Sadly, he made a few spelling errors in the blurb on my latest album, which did not thrill me since he should have saved the spelling corrections, so I would hesitate to release the URL until this matter is taken care of, hopefully tomorrow.
In any case, I was eagerly anticipating hearing my music at the web page, and when I clicked the MP3 files for two selections, as I am being charged a bit of money for this service, I found that it took literally 20 minutes to access my music, and then when I thought the whole thing was downloaded, the music started out okay, and then suddenly stopped, for no apparent reason. I know that the recording fellow put the file in at the number 128 setting, but it seems to have no bearing on the current situation. Does anyone know what is going on here?
I can use some advice about how to upload mp3 files so that they present no problems in accessing and listening to them. When I go to Classicalmusicarchives.com, I never wait long for an MP3, but I must admit that often the music starts and then stops... and then it may start again later into the selection. I appreciate any advice on this matter of web paging with mp3 files.
