Hi Wiwi,
A very nice recording of that Brahms Intermezzo. You captured the Brahms burnished sound very well. Congratulations!

This has always been one of my favorite pieces. I've played it on many special occasions, including the memorial service for my father. Your interpretation is close to ideal -- great sense of controlled motion, gorgeous singing tone, beautiful balance between treble, tenor and bass voices, and just the right amount of rubato. Please post more.

Now I'll be humming this all night. Wonderful melody projection! Good use of rubato, shape, and direction of line. I really enjoyed listening to this. A couple of ideas: 1) Throughout, there are many apoggiaturas that could have received more special treatment. 2) When you play the short repeated section (in minor key) have you thought of bringing out the tenor line the second time through? 3) I would play the first section a little slower..but that is only what I would do.
