I noticed today when I browsed the digital forum that there are no moderators there. Makes me wonder if we at the ABF are an especially roudy bunch that needs chaperoning... It certainly seems plausible! On further investigation, I found that 4 forums (non-classical, digital, composer, and tuners) don't have moderators, and the other 4 forums do. Not being active in any other online forums, I am just curious. How do some PW forums end up having moderators, and some don't?

Although Frank could give the "definitive" answer, I believe it's due to a lack of volunteers. I doubt that he reads every post in the forums that don't have moderators but if someone reports a post or has a problem with any of the unmoderated forums, it goes to Frank and he deals with it. I'm guessing the volume of such problems is low enough on those forums that it hasn't been an issue for him. The number of posts on those forums is generally much lower as well.
