Got to get away from this computer....
And to you Musdan, and everyone, the best of days.

Thanks for the reminder. I have to get that baby out of the freezer and into the refrigerator so that all 20 lbs of it will be defrosted in time to go into the oven.
Is there a special piece of music that I should be learning for Turkey Day (aside from Chopin's Funeral March to be played as the bird slowly defrosts.) Gaby Tu

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We're doing an Italian theme this year. Yes, we are having turkey, but the seasoning and sides and appetizers will be Italian in nature. The BaldBassMan (who is also the chef around these parts) usually tries to come up with some sort of theme to plan his menu around. Small group this year, tho- just us, the 3 girls and the oldest's boyfriend. It will be a nice day, tho, I'm sure.

Check your PMs, monster. signa, the easiest way to cook turkey, especially if you don't need a large amount, is to buy just a turkey breast and wham it in the oven for the prescribed time. You don't have to go digging into any body cavities and remove giblets and internal organs etc.(ick) the way you do with a whole turkey. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! I know that I have a lot to be grateful for this year, including piano and this wonderful forum.
