Since I just introduced myself to the forums, I thought I'd go ahead and post a pic of my new piano...it's a Yamaha 44" upright, Euro style. Very clean looking and matches the decor of my house well.

I probably should have posted it in the "Pianos" forum, but this is where I've been posting so I figured I'd just post it here instead.

What do you all think? Good piano for a newbie?

Nice piano! Pretty strange glass wall to your garage there. It makes it look like you live in a car dealer's shop.

The place is definitely modern. I love it, but you do have to keep the car clean and the carport swept or else it can make the whole house look messy!

Thanks! I'm so excited. I've put in about 6 hours this weekend!!! Knowing myself the novelty will fade, but I've always been a bit of a perfectionist so I imagine I will attack the thing until I can play the way I want to sound in my head.
