Hello everyone. I am new to the forums... I just picked up a Baldwin Acrosonic piano from my boss at work. He was in the same band as I was in High School, just 7 years earlier \:\) Anyways, he knew I loved music and instead of selling it, he gave it to me for free... after moving costs and tuning.

So... I played in band for 9 years, mainly Brass, Baritone and Tuba to be exact. I read Bass Clef well, been a while since I have looked at a Treble clef \:\)

I am interested in lessons on my new piano. I have been a huge fan of the piano for a looooong time, I just never had a chance to learn. I am 25, been out of music for about 6 years, and I haven't picked up an instrument since.

I am looking for some advice on lessons, and maybe some teacher recommendations in the area. I have been reading the forums, but asking for help never hurts!

Thanks, and I hope to hear from you all soon!
Anthony

Xynie, welcome to the forum. I'm glad to hear you've decided to find a teacher. This is the best way to improve quickly.
I sent you a private message with a list.
Let us know how you make out finding an instructor.
Good luck,
Jon
