I got my member status icon last night. I was very pleasantly surprised to see it. Is this worth an entire new thread? YUP!

Thanks to Monica Kern and all you other guys for putting my mind at ease regarding the little icon. Thanks, too to Bob Muir - I don't know if those emails to Frank helped... I think it was just a matter of time and priority backlog, and whenever administration got around to the next person....

All in all - I'm glad it's here!

Enjoy to beautiful weather - hope it's beautiful weather by you! laugh

Thanks for supporting this site Sharon. Its people like you who have to take up the slack for all the cheap bastards like me who take up all of piano worlds web-space and don't contribute any money!

Maybe I will do something good for this site some day, until then, I am just a cheap-bastard sloth parasite sucking down the web-space posting up my ridiculous home-made songs! :p

There are lots of different ways of showing support. You get mucho brownie points for being the AB forum ringleader.

Bob - I DO agree - the silver goes nicely.

BTW: Bob (Muir) when I get the credit card statement, I'll bring it to Franks attention that I signed up twice. Or maybe I'll just let it ride - for the cause....And I didn't pay only $25 for silver, I paid $40. But really $80. But I like the silver because it goes well with the moonscape. Just talking out loud, really. I've blown eek money in the past (we all have) - no biggie. (Maybe). We'll see. Like I said - it's a good cause - PW is a rockin place - IMVHO. thumb

Man, you got sharp eyes, OperaTenor! I didn't even notice that!

Incidentally, if you go to the MAIN piano forums page, not "our most popular forums," you'll see a forum labelled "For members only" or something like that, and once you go inside you'll see useful information about discounts available to contributing members.

Unfortunately I only discovered that AFTER I had bought my caster cups etc. from the piano supplies site. Oh well.

Ooooh, you mean I can go in there, now? laugh This is almost as good as knowing the secret handshake, or owning the decoder ring! laugh

Thank you for the information, Monica! It never occurred to me about that.

Looking at the main page, the board "for suscribing members only" has the grand total of 3 threads, with a combined total of 9 posts, so they can't be having TOO much fun over there smile

(Incidentally, I WOULD suscribe, only I'm pretty broke at the moment, and I think I remember AJB having problems with payment from overseas)
