My piano teacher has me working on technical pieces by Joseph (Guisepe) Concone. Opus 24 Twenty Five Melodic Studies. When I ordered the book, the person at the music store was completely surprised. Concone is known for vocal etudes, not piano.

Is anyone else working on technical pieces by little known composers and what are they?

Am currently looking at some Etudes by Russian composer Cesar Cui.

However, I think he might be better-known than Concone?

actually, Clementi music is technical. maybe he's not that unknown, but his sonatas are rarely played and yet they contain a lot of technical elements, and some of which are quite difficult, such as multiple voice lines, octave passages and chord sequence at fast tempo and etc. after i learned one of his sonatas, i kind of gained some technical advantage, having worked on the difficult technical parts for long time.

I tried to play études by some guy called Chopain or Chopin...maybe your heard of him.
