And that's why you can pretty much pedal in whatever way makes the music expressive without forfeiting clarity of voices and line.

Cool, it's what I usually do anyway. EDIT: I mean do what I want, not necessisarily end up with clairty of voices and line...

If I had ever learnt, I should have been a great proficient.

Frycek,
Is there a new "official" list of who will submit what on March 1? Just curious.

Check the list at the head of the thread. I've been updating it. It's current as of today.

Just a bit of an update. We've got a new domain (chopinforever.org) for this and as soon as MaryRose gets her photoshop to stop talking to her in Spanish (possibly channelling Freida Kalo) we'll be calling for submissions.

Done. You need to write a Chopin story involving maruzkas.

Not that it matters, but... will there be a new domain for every recital? I had thought the original Chopin Recital page (chopinrecital.org) was going to be the one which contained all the upcoming Chopin recitals, especially since it now has the title "The Inaugural Recital". I don't really know how this all works, I just thought we would be "adding" submissions to the original page. (??)

No, about a domain for every recital. MaryRose and I were left in limbo for quite awhile about what was to happen about the chopinrecital.org domain and since we didn't have access to it so we came up with our own. We've since been given access to the chopinrecital.org and are giving some thought about how to on integrate the two sites. Who knows, someday we may need both.

Hey, I'd like to do 6/4 on Mazurka recital 2, if it's still unclaimed.

Ya'll go ahead though, and please let me know if you want or need help with the site.

No, that is a community site. MaryRose, Frycek and I have logins to it. It is a home for Chopin enthusiasts.
