Well, I finally did it! I managed to select and purchase a digital piano. It took awhile - as there are a lot of choices - but I wanted to resolve it before the holidays came to an end (time off from work to actually go try out some and so on).
I picked a Yamaha P-90. For those that read my earlier post - I wanted a "practice" piano to supplement my acoustic. The idea is that now I can practice at night and even during the day as not to drive the family crazy - I can practice the same couple of measures over, and over and ...
I even LIKE Hanon!
So now I can play at odd hours and I plan to haul my "board" to work on days when I may not have time to practice in the evening - I'll be able to practice during lunch! Finally, I hope to take it camping - which is one of the reasons I picked the P-90, it's smaller (due to lack of speakers) and it runs on 12V DC, so I plan to run it off the car's battery - we'll see!
It's right here next to my computer, so I can actually "play" while on the forum - isn't that special?
Thanks for your patience, I'll let you know how it works out.
