That is a beauty and Mark is correct about Monica and Kawaigirl being off to the races. The appeal to them is quite understandable. I would enjoy hearing this piece by either of them.

Sounds too difficult for me to play, but it has a melodic theme that draws me back for more.

If you've had a chance to hear Kawaigirl and Monica play, you'll know that this genre of music is right down their alley and they both play it beautifully.

Seriously, when you look at the sheet music, it doesn't look all that hard, but listening to the piece is something else entirely. I've had my heart broken by pieces like that in the past, so this one I'm putting away in my "to be learned later" stack.

LOL Monica. Well, I was toying with the piece today. The beginning was not too bad, then...well lets just say...it's a whole new ball of wax

I played that YouTube clip about 10 times in a row last night, and [broken heart alert] I fear it is really calling to me. I'm thinking I may try to learn a modified version of the piece, leaving out the hard parts, i.e., everything in the key change between measures 117 and 192. The rest looks pretty doable. Maybe.

Okay, I will confess to being an egocentric American who knows no foreign languages. Can you help me translate the title of "Come sei veramente"? I put it in BabelFish, and they translated it as "Like Six Truly" which doesn't make a great deal of sense.

Come sei veramente = How you really are

Okay, I gave it about a 30 minute try yesterday. And I'll just say this: Even the easy parts are hard. Or at least I couldn't get anything besides the first 6 measures to sound like the video.

On the positive side, I just ordered the CD from amazon so I can hear it played well any time I like.
