When you scan the titles of most of the threads here, you can't help but believe that this place is permeated with one sick, obsessed, bunch of puppies.

lb,

The Liberals will be posting on the top of their lungs till November, not that it will do much good for Kerry. Nothing will be doing him much good, though. Kerry reeks with the smell of doom.

Regards,

Care to elaborate lb. Looks like a motley array of thread titles to me, spanning from whimsical, to practical to political(all sides) with a broad span of originators, covering pretty much the gamut. Maybe "sick puppies" is a term of endearment to you???

You figure it out. Did I mentioned obsessed?

Sick puppies is not a term of endearment to me.

Nah, lb, I wouldn't say sick - just frustrated.

The liberals in this country, over the past months, have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Mr. Bush, and what has been the result?

Kerry's negatives go up.

And I'm afraid they will soon be whipped into a frenzy. As much as most of us are dialed into politics, most of the regular folks out there in America have not done much thinking about the November election. When they do, and examine Kerry's record, I don't think they will like it.

Not to mention some of the responses Kerry gives, would make a Democratic party member groan. He either has a tendency to flip-flop, or tries to assign his Vietnam experience to irrelevant current situations.

So, our more liberal members are just trying to make hay while the sun shines. I believe they know they are losing, and these are cries of anguish on the way down.

When I look at the titles, posts, responses, of the people here I do not find sick, obsessed puppies. I find people on both sides of the equasion, liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, and plain old American citizen trying to make sense of what is happening, and really caring about what happens to our country.

Some of us are political. Some of us are on one extreme of the equation, right or left, Democrat or Republican. Some of us are in the middle. Some of us aren't happy with all our choices. Who do we vote for? Some of us are undecided.

What you can not say is that people on this forum, are sick puppies, or obsessed with whatever you think any of us might be obsessed, with.

Think! What if!

What if all the people who go into the polls to vote, were as "obsessed" and need I say it, as informed, whatever our political persuasions might be, as the people here?

We have heard and rejected, accepted, questioned, or ridiculed, literally every idea, every idealogy, every party line, every candidate, every hair-brained position, coming from the face of the earth. Sometimes we gave ground. Sometimes we gave it up. Sometimes we decided it wasn't worth the fight. Sometimes we changed our minds, and sometimes we didn't.

LB, that is what a real American democracy is all about. Sometimes it isn't pretty, but I do have optimism that it will ultimately prevail. You and I may differ on how that might be accomplished, but I dare say that at least you and I are not complacent. We really do care!

Puppies are beautiful, even the sick ones.

kathy says it all.

The Liberal agenda: the bashing of America and people who love and defend this great country. Exaggerate our faults, emphasize our errors, laugh at our attempts at patriotism, side with our enemies, hate, belittle, despise and bash.
